Mobile animal health units are roaming KZN and the Eastern Cape, with a view to improving livestock production and economic sustainability in communal areas.

The project could also assist South Africa shift from being a net importer to a net exporter of red meat, at a time when red meat consumption in emerging markets is projected to grow significantly.
