Bloemfontein – The National Prestige Indigenous Veld Goat Auction was held on 28 February. The top priced Xhosa Lob Ear ram was sold for R15 000 by John Sparks of Fort Beaufort to Deon Vlok of Calvinia. The highest priced Skilder ewe was sold for R14 500 by Johnny Morrison of Bloemfontein to Terry Usher and George Smuts of George. The auction was hosted by CMW Elite with Leon Goosen as the auctioneer.
