The Bergplaas Merino Stud Production Sale was held on the farm Prospect on 23 January on behalf of Stephan Nel and family.

The highest price of the day was paid for a ram, which was sold to Wilhelm Ziervogel of CF Ziervogel Boerdery in Ermelo for R25 000.
Rams achieved an average price of R8 090,91, while open ewes were sold for an average price of R1 850.
The sale was held by BKB, with JP Marais as the auctioneer.
