You can make a good guess at the age of cattle by looking at their teeth.

Baby teeth – under two years old:

Two-tooth stage – two to two-and-a-half years:

Four-tooth – two-and-a-half to three years:

Six-tooth – three to three-and-a-half years:

Full mouth – four years


Worn – older than four years:
