There are about ten guesthouses in Bothaville, and those people not staying in guesthouses would be accommodated in private residences, she added.

The small farming town of Bothaville received a large financial injection as a result of the annual festival, with exhibitors spending about R8 million and visitors spending about R27 million, according to the Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, the event generated about “750 temporary employment conditions with a potential income of about R600 000”, Arnold Steyn from the Chamber of Commerce said.
