Along with 61 other partners, the publisher pledges to contribute to a reduction in electricity demand, in order to alleviate the load on South Africa’s power supply. Caxton’s managing director Gordon Utian said: “The aim of the partnership with 49M is for Caxton to find ways and means to become energy efficient. This could be done by introducing power-saving light bulbs in offices or bigger changes in factories.”

According towww.eskom.co.za, “The 49M initiative aims to inspire and rally all South Africans behind a common goal – to save electricity and create a better economic, social and environmental future for all.”
