The Tshwabac Pretoria Spring Show is going ahead, despite rumours doing the rounds that it had been canceled.

The company organising the Spring Show confirmed that it will take place from 20 to 30 August 2014, as previously scheduled.

One official said arrangements were still at a too early stage to determine the number of exhibitors who will be at the show, but the event management company had written letters to potential exhibitors notifying them about the planned events at the show.

The Spring Show will be limited to agriculture.

“It is very important to note that the 2014 Show will be a smaller version of the previous shows. This smaller show will serve to meet the needs of our role players, and will in effect be a ‘transitional show’ between our previous shows and the new, much bigger 2015 Jacaranda Agriculture Show,” said Tshwabac CEO Wim du Toit in a press statement.
