The new compact offering from Quadmaster promises to revolutionise spot spraying.
Pietermaritzburg-based company Quadmaster has added the QM-0425 SpotSprayer (above right) to its wide range of quad ATV-mounted implements. This unique sprayer, with its moulded 50â„“ polyethylene tank, mounts on the rear rack of the quad. It’s the preferred choice for smaller quad ATVs.
It’s fitted with a 12V 6A pump powered from the quad ATV’s battery. The pump produces a maximum pressure of 2,5bar at an average flow rate of between 3,8â„“/min and 6,8â„“/min. The height, width and length are 420mm, 370mm and 865mm respectively. The empty weight is around 13kg, while the full weight is around 63kg. The sprayer has a 4,5m hose with an adjustable hand lance and is ideal for spraying a wide variety of chemicals.
