MPO has new manager

The Milk Producers’ Organisation (MPO) HAS appointed Etienne Terre’Blanche as new managing director. Previously, Terre’Blanche was co-owner and director of Brent Chemicals in the Western Cape. As chief executive officer he was responsible for establishing all facets of Ecolab’s services to the dairy and food industries
in Southern and South Africa, as well as Europe. According to Bertus de Jongh, chief executive officer of the Milk Producers’ Organisation of SA, this appointment will ensure the expansion of MPO’s member services. “Today’s dairy producer is looking for a ‘partner’ who has his interests at heart and who he can trust. Besides his need for business support, which the MPO already offers him, the MPO must also meet his need for back-up. I aim to focus my attention on that aspect,” Terre’Blanche commented on his new position. – Staff reporter
