Trip down memory lane

 PJA Lombard is my father. He was 22 years old at the time and was farming with his father, Hans Jurgens Lombard, one of the biggest wool farmers in the Karoo back then. In the 100th anniversary issue of FW I wrote that the magazine was the first I had read in 1932 at the age of six. My father must have been one of the first subscribers.
