The highest price of the day was paid for the bull TMB 20 300, which was sold by Thinus Maritz of Thinus Maritz Boerdery in Marble Hall to Jaco Steenkamp of Tweeslag Boerdery in Brits for R290 000.
Bulls achieved an average price of R124 783.
Commercial
Cows with calves achieved an average price of R22 111, while 3-in-1 cows achieved an average price of R30 000. In-calf cows were sold for an average price of R22 000, while in-calf heifers achieved an average price of R22 170.
Heifers (running with the bull) achieved an average price of R17 000, while open heifers achieved an average price of R16 184.
The sale was held by Vleissentraal, with Mike Killassy as the auctioneer.
