South Africa’s farming community is set to gather at the Farmer’s Weekly agricultural forum, presented by Die Krip Landboufees in partnership with Farmer’s Weekly.
Scheduled to be held on 4 and 5 September 2026 at Die Krip, 12 km outside Magaliesburg, the forum will bring together some of the country’s most respected agricultural and political voices for an engaging discussion on the future of South African agriculture.
The forum will offer valuable insights for commercial and emerging farmers’, agribusiness professionals, agricultural students, policymakers, and anyone with an interest in the future of South African agriculture.
This event comes on the back of various developments and challenges that have confronted the agriculture sector in South Africa. Since 2019, the sector has been facing a serious threat of foot-and-mouth disease, with the largest outbreak in years being reported across all nine provinces in 2026. The ongoing war in the Middle East with far-reaching implications is another topical subject matter.
