Derby The Fonteine Boran auction was held on 25 May. Francois Smit of Fonteine Borans sold the top-priced bull FN 06 068 to Conrad Coetzer of Rankin Operations Pretoria for R170 000.

The most expensive cow and bull calf were sold for R135 000 to Coligny Stegman of Mortimer. The top-priced heifer was sold for R130 000 to Otto Bousema of Vryheid. SHM Auctioneers hosted the sale and Johan van der Nest was the auctioneer.
