This annual event, currently in its fourth year, seeks to raise awareness of the increased threat of rhino poaching and the illegal trade in rhino horn.
‘Five Rhino Species Forever’ is this year’s theme, which celebrates both the African and Asian rhino species; black, white, greater one-horned, Sumatran and Javan.
According to World Wildlife Fund (WWF), South Africa has the largest rhino population in the world but has lost a total of 769 rhinos so far this year.
Show your support for rhino conservation by sharing the message #iam4rhinos.
