Middelburg – The Merino Stud Breeders’ Association held its Production Sale in Middelburg on 14 August during Merino Week.
Rams from the Eastern Cape Merino Veld Ram Club were also on sale. The highest-priced Merino ram was sold for R150 000 and the average price was R24 627. The highest-priced Veld Merino ram was sold for R9 500 and the average price was R5 227.
