The Van Aardt Greyling SA Mutton Merino Stud Production Sale was held at the Saddle Down Lodge on 15 February on behalf of Van Aardt and Faan Greyling.

The highest price of the day was paid for a ram, which was sold to Arno Pienaar of PJCS Pienaar Boerdery in Edenburg for R17 000.

Rams achieved an average price of R8 602,94.

Open ewes achieved an average price of R2 766,67, while in-lamb ewes were sold for an average price of R3 423,08.

2T to 4T flock ewes achieved an average price of R2 446,15.

The sale was held by BKB, with JP Marais as the auctioneer.
