The app, developed by Subsplash, is a relatively small file size. It is available for download on Google Play (Android) iTunes (iPhones), the Amazon app store and for Windows phones. In addition to a Bible section, the app includes:

  • A Farmer’s Journal: This is a daily devotion voice clip that can be played or downloaded to your mobile phone. It is about three minutes long.
  • Grassroots: This is a 24-minute-long programme hosted by Angus and filmed on his farm in Greytown. It gets to the essence of what it means to be a child of God.
  • Family Time: This is a five-minute voice clip taken from the TV series Family Time.

Other features
The app also features clips taken from the Mighty Man conferences and a blog. The latter (short for ‘web-log’) is a personal, frequently updated online journal intended for general public consumption. You can also click on the ‘Upcoming Events’ tab to check on dates, times and venues.

Any of the media clips can be shared via email, Whatsapp or social media websites such as Twitter and Facebook. Simply click on the ‘Share’ icon at the top right-hand corner of the app.

The Bible section features a daily reading plan. Alternatively, you can access the complete Bible with a click of a button and choose chapters and verses to read. This effectively turns your smartphone into a pocket Bible.

Positive feedback
The app has been met with enthusiastic reviews.

One user, Jonathan Aspeling, wrote:
