Vryburg – The Bonsmara Genepool sale was held on 21 August at the Vryburg show grounds. The highest-priced bull was sold for R80 000 to Jabra van Wyk of Upington. The 39 bulls achieved an average price of R34 000 each. Pregnant cows achieved an average price of R7 800, 58 pregnant heifers achieved an average of R8 600, and 124 open heifers achieved an average of R4 760. The sale was conducted by Noordkaap Lewendehawe, with Chris Hendriks as the auctioneer.
