The farmers’ union said that it had used the opportunity to network with government policy-makers who, under different circumstances, would have been almost impossible to arrange meetings with. Agri SA said that, at the conference, it had discovered the necessity to begin dramatically publicising the efforts that commercial agriculture was undertaking to transform and develop the sector.
