As Grain SA CEO Jannie de Villiers said in his report on last year’s show, the Harvest Day is an opportunity to show off a bit and demonstrate to stadsjapies what grain production actually involves. He explained that the local and international interest shown in Nampo was a clear sign the Harvest Day was not only a trading platform, but was also regarded as a place for networking.
Meanwhile, Harvest Day admin officer Wim Venter tells us Radio Grain SA, which was introduced last year and proved very popular, will again be operating from 7am to 7pm on 99.2FM.
