Merino wool producer, BP Greyling from Wakkerstroom in Mpumalanga, achieved a record-high price at a recent wool auction held at the Wool and Mohair Exchange in Port Elizabeth.

He achieved R172,70/kg for two bales of 17,2 micron wool. The wool was bought by international wool broker, Segard Masurel, according to a statement by OVK agribusiness.
