Wine auction for education

A wine auction in aid of education will be held in Cape Town from 14-15 March.

The Delaire Graff Estate will host the inaugural AfrAsia Bank Cape Wine Auction to raise funds to benefit education in the South African Winelands, from infant development through to technological innovation, the provision of a leadership academy and tertiary educational endowments.

On auction are rare offerings including scarce wine collections and exclusive hand-selected local and international wine.

The two-day event will launch with a barrel-tasting and auction preview, followed by the grand lunch-time auction event. Prominent wine aficionados from around the globe as well as SA’s iconic winemakers and celebrity chefs are expected to attend. – Staff reporter
