Thanks for your further thoughts on the planning of your bush retreat. There are many interpretations of your design, but here is one highly functional layout that you can improvise on. The bedroom wings are placed at an angle to the central living area instead of being parallel to each other. This gives the house a bit of character. They can, if you wish, be angled out the other way. I’ve also cut off the corners of the square buildings to add character and make them resemble thatched roofs. All in all, the layout incorporates many of your original ideas.
